Travelling to Gili Trawangan

Gili Trawangan is one of three small islands, also known as Gili Islands, located in the northwest coast of Lombok Island, Indonesia. As the main island, Gili Trawangan offers visitors a variety of entertainments and accommodation.

Gili Islands can easily be reached from Bali. There are numerous fast boat services operating between Bali and Gili Trawangan. Visitors can take a morning service boat from Benoa, Padang Bay or Amed. We recommend visitors to use boat services from well-known companies including Blue Water Express, Gili Getaway, Ekajaya, and Wahana.

The trip using fast boat service operated from Benoa or Padang Bay can take around 1.5 to 2 hours, and from Amed – about one hour.

Alternatively, visitors can fly to Lombok Praya Airport and continue their journey using a taxi to the Bangsal Harbour, and followed by boat trip. There are local ferry and small speedboats leave to Gili from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm. Private speedboat services from Teluk Kodek to Gili Trawangan operate 24/7.

For those who haven’t decided about how long they will stay in Gili Islands, we recommend booking a one-way ticket. We can assist our guests to book their return tickets from Gili Trawangan to Bali or to Lombok.
